Illustrating the story of ‘Craggy the Herdwick’, mapping it’s life from birth on the fell tops through a journey of herding, hefting, clipping and a holiday on the Solway plain.
This commission for photographer-writer partnership Somewhere Nowhere was for the educational part of Landkeepers – a project examining the land and lives of upland farmers.
‘The series of 14 pictures depicts Craggy on the fells and in the farmyard and shows in a beautifully visual way how these iconic Lakeland sheep are managed. It has been a hit with school children.’
